To check your NEB approval status online, clients simply enter your name in the Advisor Check fields at the top left of our home page (click on Illustration 1). After they hit “go,” they will come to a page with links to your NEB Certificate of Approval and Professional Profile. If they click on “Certificate of Approval,” they will see an attractive certificate stating you have passed the Ethics Check System™ and are an approved NEB member (click on Illustration 2).  The certificate also displays the date through which your membership is valid. Prospects can also view your Professional Profile (click on Illustration 3). Like the Certificate of Approval, this document confirms you have passed the Ethics Check System™.  Unlike the certificate, it provides more detail about the eight areas we verify about you. Also, assuming you have uploaded your personal data, your Profile contains information about your business history, education, association memberships, and references.  Since consumers view this information from our web site, it carries a great deal of third-party credibility.
