Last Call: Update Your NEB Logo Now
In 2007, the National Ethics Bureau refined its logo to enhance its member value and to respond to compliance issues. The new logo had a cleaner appearance, was more readable at small sizes, and was available in several formats for use in various marketing applications.
Effective March 23, 2007, we began granting new members rights to use only the updated logo. We also asked existing members to transition to the new logo no later than May 1, 2007.
Unfortunately, almost nine months later, we continue to find NEB members using the old logo on their web sites and marketing materials. In order to remain in compliance with the NEB member agreement, all members must immediately replace any outdated NEB logos with the current version. Continuing to use the old logo will be considered a violation of your membership agreement and may result in membership revocation.
So don't jeopardize your NEB membership. Update your NEB logo today by downloading it from the NEB web site. Then forward the file to your marketing vendors with instructions to update your materials at once.
Finally, here are some additional guidelines for using the NEB logo responsibly:
- Only use the logo to indicate that you as an individual are an approved NEB member. Do not use it to suggest that NEB has endorsed any company, product, marketing concept, service, or seminar with which you are affiliated.
- When you use the logo, be sure to hyperlink it to the NEB home page. This way, when prospects or clients click on it, they will increase their understanding of your NEB achievement.
- Do not alter or modify the logo. It has been carefully designed to reproduce attractively and to reflect positively on NEB members.
