WASHINGTON, DC March 17, 2001 - The National Verification Agency (NVA), the nationally recognized certification, rating and award program for professional advisors, has announced plans to significantly enhance its web presence. The NVA has selected San Diego-based Simply Internet as its new web site host to improve the value of services available through the NVA structure. "We have recognized the incredible power of the web for consumers, as well as for our loyal customer base," said Jeffrey Kopitz, the NVA's Chairman of the Board and Director of Research: 'our new web platform will make it easier for consumers to navigate and it will give our members even more of a competitive edge in their respective industries.'
The success of its online presence has led the NVA to call upon Simply Internet to develop various processes and manage the extensive NVA member database to improve productivity and efficiency. Web hosting is the centerpiece of their agreement. When fully implemented, members will be able to purchase publications, update personal profiles, and renew memberships online.
It is expected that Simply Internet's resources will allow the NVA to handle a significantly increased capacity and greatly upgrade their e-commerce efforts. Kopitz said that Simply Internet's technology, expertise and business model will be of value because "the NVA has a limited IT staff and a large mandate. Outsourcing parts of our information systems and database management supports our charter to provide reliable and accurate information on behalf of our members and their customers alike."
