SAN DIEGO, CA January 01, 2005 – The National Ethics Bureau (NEB) has announced new and improved services for its members. These exciting new services will enable members to more effectively communicate their exemplary record of business ethics to consumers.
“Due to the increased lack of trust in the financial services industry, it is now more important than ever for financial advisors to convey to their potential clients that they are a credible individual,” remarks NEB National Director Steven McCarty, “and our new Professional Profile is a powerful tool of credibility.” The Professional Profile is a new feature available to members on the NEB website at www.ethicscheck.com and is similar to a comprehensive job resume. All members now have the ability to login to their own profile page on the NEB website and are prompted to upload their picture as well as enter comprehensive personal and professional information in real-time.
A new Certificate of Approval has been redesigned to be more attractive, professional, and printer-friendly. The popular member brochures and hand-out cards have been recently redesigned as well, allowing members to show their clients what it means to be approved by the NEB while listing NEB contact information so consumers can verify a member’s approval status. NEB Executive Director Jeffrey Kopitz states, “The new brochure really communicates to the public that our members have been thoroughly checked out and are trustworthy.”
The annual membership fee for 2005 has been increased to $180 (plus a $55 initiation fee) to reflect these new features and services.
