National Ethics Bureau Launches New Advisor Tools Encouraging Ethics-Driven Marketing

Back to Scam Reports BACK

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 20, 2006 — The National Ethics Bureau unveiled a new web site and e-mail newsletter designed to help insurance and financial advisors grow their practices through ethics-driven marketing.

“These initiatives will help NEB member advisors better communicate their exemplary ethics to current and potential clients,” says Steven R. McCarty, NEB Chairman. “This should accelerate their practice revenue and ultimately their profits.”

The new NEB web site is more content-rich than the prior site. It provides education and motivation about ethics-driven marketing for advisors. It also includes information that helps consumers avoid financial scams in today’s volatile marketplace.

The site also includes new features, including a “Find a Local NEB Member” function and the ability for consumers to order a background check on non-NEB members.

Each issue of the NEB newsletter—The Ethics Edge—contains a “Red Flag Reminder” (sales practices to avoid), an “Eye on Ethics” bulletin (ethics motivation), and “Member Insights,” a feature where NEB members share how they use their NEB memberships to grow their practices.

“Communicating more effectively will help advisors achieve the benefits of ethics-driven marketing,” says McCarty. “It’s not just about doing the right thing. It’s about growing your business by leveraging your track record of professionalism and integrity.”

The new web site’s URL is http://www.ethicscheck.com. Advisors can view a sample newsletter issue by visiting http://www.ethicscheck.com/advisors/newsletter/newsletter.html
