SAN DIEGO, CA, December 3, 2007—Financial professionals seeking guidance on the evolution of long-term care insurance will get answers by listening to “The Future of Long-Term Care,” the latest podcast in the Trendwatch series sponsored by the National Ethics Bureau and ProducersWeb.com

The podcast is free and available for listening at www.TrendWatchPodcast.com, along with two earlier podcasts on annuities and designations.

“Long-term care is an important product for seniors today,” says Steven R. McCarty, NEB Chairman. “But will it become a mainstream product in the future for millions of baby-boomers? That’s what we discuss in this podcast.”

The podcast features Phyllis Shelton, President, LTC Consultants, and Jim VonBruchhaeuser, Senior Vice President, M&O Marketing. Key trends discussed are who’s buying LTC today and why, what product designs are reshaping the industry, and how to leverage the new partnership programs.

The LTC program will be followed by one additional Trendwatch podcast to be launched on December 12 on the future of life settlements. That show will feature Scott Kirby, Co-President of Advanced Settlements; Brad Strickland, Senior Vice President of Melville Capital Life Settlements; and Mike Quinn, Executive Vice President of Cielo Life Settlement. Trends to be discussed include positive developments for consumers and advisors, today’s suitability issues, and new opportunities in a maturing market.

Hosted by NEB Chairman Steven R. McCarty and NEB President Jeffrey S. Kopitz, the new Trendwatch series brings together the industry’s top experts to help producers stay one step ahead of the issues transforming the business today

“We are delighted to partner with ProducersWEB.com on this initiative,” said NEB’s McCarty. “They have the leading platform for communicating with financial professionals. And they are committed to publishing valuable content that helps advisors to advance in the marketplace.”

“We are looking for NEB to provide a valuable perspective on the important trends changing our industry,” said Jeff Schottland, Founder of ProducersWEB.com. “I will count on them to ask hard questions about the ethical impact of today’s trends so that our listeners can do what’s right for their clients.”
